Is it already taken? I just started building exactly the same thing - well maybe not exactly mine will be like 3x heavier.
Hey Tom this is what I have as you can see it needs some TLC

@KeeponDragon, and @justin1, well it could be Cherryville

Haha fair ye surprised anyone knows that town considering some people from lumby don't have a clue about it.

Also package sizing is 11"x12"x2.5" and weight is 13.8lbs so I'm gonna see what I can find out.

It’s just gathering dust over here besides that my Son would be tickled pink knowing I got rid of something. Dad left me lots of taps & steel cutters.
As far as size it looks like around a 6” radius so 12” swing.

How about trading you some round steel for it? Aluminum?

Whatever I’d just like someone to get some use from it.
I’m in the S.E by Piegan Trail

Yeah, ouch!

I just poked the CP bear and it spit out just under $50 for parcel post (when the strike is over) so I guess the FedEx ground is about what one could expect from them.

The CP way does include tracking so it’s reassuring to know they’ll know where it is if it does get delayed, lol!

I see that CP offers what they call a flat rate box size that your box would fit into for $30 except…..the max weight would be 5kg/11 lb. Oh, well.

There’s always more to the story, CP and FedEx (and the rest of them) offer much better rates if you have an account with them. I’ve never looked into it but I would imagine there’s a catch somewhere in the fine print.

Thanks for looking into this @justin1, appreciate it!

D

Ye flat rate box would of been best thing so maybe after Christmas???

Or maybe keepondragon still willing to maybe ship via the company he works for if that is still on the table he can grab some quotes maybe corporate rates better then what the common pleb gets? I'm more then happy to drop off or even drop by Kelowna as I maybe heading westbank soon to buy some building materials.

All I need is an address of where it needs to go.
Once it's in a box, all packed up securely, and dimensions recorded, it's a pretty easy process
