9 times out of 10 the guy is fishing for someone who will pay over the odds I find with those contact me for a price or make me an offer people. Only once has it worked out for me buying a General bandsaw for a friend for $250

True, but you can “usually” gauge their mood by ad details and length of time listed

I’ll throw stupid numbers out sometimes and see if they bite, other times they obviously don’t know what they have and I happily pay asking price

It goes both ways, sometimes I sell stuff super cheap just so I know it’s gonna get used. I'll never understand hoarding for the sake of hoarding
