  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. It is, I may be wrong, but it seems high. He will sell it, as Ft Mac is a 5 hr drive to get anywhere.
Yeah, and Ft Mac suffers from the Oil Industry and the incomes it produces, which makes folks think that it's "normal" for a cracker box house to sell for a million five!
Heck, the Burger King workers start at +/- $25 an Hour, just so they can get folks to apply!
 
I don't mind suffering like that. My friend is a machinist there and he is making $105 but the hours and shifts are horrible. Here's what he does. The hole on the blue box in the second picture is 3.5" for the boring bar.

worst work related decision I ever made in my life was turning down the job of running one of the bucket wheels at Suncor in the seventies....I wasnt married yet and the ration of males to females at Ft Mac was 6:1 ...and the camps were "dry".

I can see why you weren't too interested...... Money can only buy so much.....:rolleyes:
