  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Hey Everyone,

You know the drill!

Time for another meetup!

We'll be meeting at the Tim Hortons at: 444 58 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0P4
Map Link: https://goo.gl/ad49iY

Meeting time will be 10:30am, Saturday, Sept 17th.

As always, bonus points if you bring something you've been working on, or something cool to show the group!

Please RSVP by clicking this link:

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/canadian-hobby-metal-workers-meetup-tickets-27464995541

Your RSVP is important, as we may need to communicate with Tim Hortons if enough people are coming. Maybe even a larger location will be needed.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

JW

P.s. @Janger Previously had the idea of planning these quarterly on scheduled dates in advance. I like the idea, just not sure how to coordinate it.

Thoughts?

I think you're likely right John.

Less RSVP's this time then usual, Hoping I didn't mess up the dates or anything! Let me know!

Same here. Between work & family stuff lately I'm 50/50 myself, but hope to drop by if I can swing free.

I'll be coming and be bringing one of my other machining friends. Sorry, but not using everbrite calendar.
