Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. Magnetic Chuck Single Sine Plate Grinding 6x6In 170423, $205, Scarborough, ON

This is not a one off sale item. The vendor asc365 is an importer with a warehouse in Scarborough, sortta like aliexpress but smaller... well not really like Vevor but more like accusize tools but for a wider selection of goods. You can order and pick up in person.

They have mini lathes, belt grinders, laser cutters, universal cutter grinders, tool post grinders, bit grinders, grain grinders, rock crushers, chicken pluckers (who needs this in Toronto?)

IF I ever figure out which of their cutter grinders uses 5C collets I plan to buy one, because they're cheaper than aliexpress.

This company struggles though.. which makes finding products difficult, which leads to discontinuation of products that dont find their market.

Like the "Automatic expansion coil pipe" that we'd call a retractable air hose, or the "Opener Swallowtail Machine" that we'd call a dovetail jig, or the "Hydraulic hard claw 10"" that we'd call cnc chuck hard jaws

Ya, at a grand I'm out. Too much to spend to sharpen endmills and drills. Cheaper just to buy new ones.
That is our philosophy so far.

Also we had another grinder that we gave to my friend brian, and I'm sure we can use it for all sorts of mills and drill bits as well as saw blades, etc.
