Has anyone used one of these? I’ve seen a few for sale locally, in the last year or two.

My gut reaction to a lathe made in India is, uh… not generous, but there are plenty of smart, diligent people there, as there are in China (and Canada, hopefully). It’s more an issue of people only factories there for the cheapest of the cheap, and the factories producing as requested.

They were made in India, by a British company, Herbert. I think the company Misore is evaluated on the “machine tool archive “ on the net.
