I have been using Tinkercad for almost 2 years and it was a great intro to cad for me, simple, basic no frills and got the job done. A good friend of mine told me I should look into Layerling which is very similar to Tinkercad and would be easy for me to learn. After a quick glance it does looks very promising. Next time I make something I will give it a try.
layerling is CAD for 3D printing, right in your browser - as easy to use as Tinkercad, but a step towards Fusion 360. Free, no account, no installation - and what you build stays on this computer.
Know Tinkercad? Then you will find your way at once: drag shapes onto the workplane, group holes, align, mirror, bundle, Alt-drag for a copy - the controls are deliberately the same. You just no longer hit the limits that bothered you there. And under Settings → Appearance one click makes the work area look like it too.
