Lathe tools HOLDER - $25 (Delta)

I have an Aloris AXA tool post - not sure if these would fit.
250-03XX series holders are sized for CXA posts. But and this is important, there is zero consistency in the dovetail spacing so you might get holders that fit perfectly or loose.

Edited to correct misinformation. Thanks @Susquatch :)

My AXA holders are 250-1XX #'s for the SB 9A
The BXA's are 250-2XX are in the rack above the Crawford.
I've a hunch these are CXA size?
that's a darn big holder...probably would dwarf the post for the AXA setup

There is some craziness out there. For some vendors, the 250 just means aloris style and the next numbers are the size.

In other words
AXA is 250-01xx
BXA is 250-02xx
CXA is 250-03xx

The xx is the style of holder.

I've been lucky. All of my 250-02xx holders have fit my two BXA Toolposts (one plunger style and one wedge). I've had other problems though. Still, all-in-all I've been happy and I prolly have 30 holders at this point that all work.

Yes, that's true. I got my designations befuddled!
I edited my original comment to correct.

Ya, they look big compared to the pen. Prolly CXA going by the size and the numbers. The one on the right is a monster by my eyes!
