After 15 year my chinese mag drill belched out the magic smoke and I can't seem to put it back in. So Joe, I went and got your link, and yep there it is, 300 rpm variable 1650 watts and discontinued...dammit. The closest thing they now offer is 1550 watts ,variable and 500 rpm max. It is very well made compared to my old smokeless one. I am impressed. Brass slide rails and the variable speed works smoothly.
I am still cracking up over the user manual. They say you can use hollow drills or fried dough drills up to two inches. Fried dough is twisted I assume. I'm going to have to see if I can chuck a piece of fried dough.

I've been meaning to make a 'how artisanal baby carrots are made' video for about ten years now...

It's hard to get all the smoke back in when you let it out....

Duct tape is a godsend on such occasions. Put it on the vents before starting.....
...... and grease is good for squealing brakes.

I was about to pull the trigger on a Vevor one, when my Friend gave me his old Hougen. His company switched to all Milwaukee battery drills, and he hadn't used this one in years. They do a lot of iron work and the battery drills are safer. He apologized when he gave it to me, that it wasn't an M18. I accepted his apology.....

One of those tools you don't need a lot, but when you do, it's handier than a shirt pocket, and sure beats the alternative. Annular cutters are magic.
