Kepro 12" Bench shear

Super User
Just picked this up. ($40) It was too cute to pass up, and I may actually use it! Apparently designed for cutting circuit boards, but "who still does that these days?". Worked fine on a test piece of what I guessed to be 16 gauge aluminum. I understand that Kepro is long out of business, but one reference google came up with said "metal up to 0.040". Anyone have any experience with one of these?

I have only seen one milling video using that style shear to cut aluminum supports to machine to depth while protecting the milling deck.
