No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

KBIC-240 230VAC Input 180VDC Output speed control.

Super User
KBIC-240 DC SCR type speed control for sale. I can provide a photo if needed but it's a standard part. I removed this when I decided to go with PWM type spindle controllers. $75 includes shipping to anywhere in Canada. If you are going to use a spindle control like this with a Centroid Acorn you will need to purchase a signal isolator also. This units input signal is not electrically isolated. I think this controller is suitable for treadmill type motors but you will have to research the motor that you have. You will have to supply a current setting resistor if the one currently installed does not match your motor.

230 VAC input 180 VDC output

Is this in an enclosure or box?
What is the rating of the resistor?

Thanks
There is no enclosure. The resistor currently installed was used with a 3/4 HP 180 VDC motor. The resistor is easy to change if the current one is not what you want.
