Anyone know where I can buy blue dykem locally? Grainger has the spray but would prefer the bottle.

I have used the starrett stuff which i believe i got from KMS, but a friend has mentioned the Dykem brans stuff is a lot better.

I've only seen the spray type at KMS.

Could order from McMaster Carr $12 usd.
Mcmaster won't sell the mark out fluid to outside the USA.

I don’t like the spray type I hate it when the dam nozzle plugs up.
Methanol dissolves mark out fluid almost instantly.
I use aerosol spray glue adhesives a lot in the shop for paper cad drawings onto whatever material. The more infrequently you use them, the more they plug. Its often hard to find replacements because there are apparently a gazillion different caps. Now I remove them, toss them into a small jar of (depends - acetone, low odor paint thinner...) for a soak & they are whistle clean or at least much more amenable to removing an offending glue slug out with a needle.

I found this listed with a knife maker supplier in Brisco, BC

My very amateur opinion. I use a big blue or red Milwaukee marker. Very cheap and they work. For the stuff the markers don't stick to I use the stuff john conroy posted. Have not had much luck with the liquid stuff as I have fumble and spill ittus and it makes for a great mess.

I also use large chisel point blue markers. Bought a case of twelve, gave some to local peeps. Likely have enough to last till I shuffle off.

I use marker for a lot of things, even layout. The odd time I need to use the liquid Dykem (or clone). I'm not a fan of the spray.

I'd say you can get 80% + of the work done with a black and a red wide tip marker.
