In Search Of: 55 gallon drum lid (steel) with a locking ring.

I have a 55 gallon drum for my woodshop cyclone dust collector I'm finally getting set up, but I'm short a lid and a locking ring.

Anyone in the Calgary area have a lid and locking ring? I'll bring a case of beer for your trouble!

If you can't find one, a piece of 3/4" plywood cut into a circle to fit on top of barrel, gasket material around the circumference of the barrel and a couple of those latches to snap it down might work? Wood might help quiet it a bit too, although, in the grand scheme of the machine plus dust collector running, doubt it

We used to get dustbane in the steel drum with a locking ring. Maybe try some local industrial shops for empties.

Found one on faceBook marketplace for 40 bucks. Had a nice lid + camlock locking ring and is a thin wall metal barrel which weighs about half a regular 55gal drum. Exactly what I need.
