Ok it's not really new, it's between 110 and 112 years old, but it's new to me.
My nephew brought it by for me today. He aquired it and it had a chunk missing from the heel so he chopped it off, milled the top steel plate smooth again and gave it a paint job.
I figure it looks pretty good considering it's age. He'll I'm half as old but don't look as good, but then I've probably had more beatings on me than that anvil.
I never heard of Berlin, Ontario before but apparently that was Kitchners name for a while.
I found a picture of another anvil of the same make on the interweb to show how the heel of it would have originally looked.
