Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

AFAIK the only way to tell is to disassemble and check the dates on the bearings. If they haven't been replaced.
Most people figure it is not worth the effort unless you need to replace bearings

Thanks TB, I haven't been right into the headstock yet, I am thinking it has babbitt bearings. Would doubt they be dated, but maybe. ......................................Daniel

You can check this database and see if you can find serial numbers close to your own that have been dated... I think even babbitt bearings were stamped

Attached below are the current version of the dBase .DBF file (with the .MDX file that I don't think that any of the Excel or Access clones will use). These files are updated sporadically as new information surfaces. Microsoft Access and most of the clones of Excel will open the .DBF...

Depending on they model and configuration you could try going through all the info on https://www.lathes.uk/ under atlas. I was able to date mine to about a 10 year span just based on when certain features and layouts and sizes became available.
