Hip or gable, that is the question...

A swarm has gorged on honey before they left the hive, and are usually really docile.

I only ever saw one swarm here. And it was airborne and slowly headed to China. Never did see where it went. Was something to see though!

So, not just clerestory windows (4 per side) , but also dual rooflines and a granary style to fit rural aesthetic.

Easy to make all the trusses. I'm going to lay out wood frame wall panels too... but I haven't worked out my rat and mouse proofing yet and my friend wants concrete walls so this is a starting point.

I'm thinking corden steel siding and trim both for aesthetics and rat proof design potential of 22 gauge steel

So I decided to lay out a 160 ft2 shed and design the trusses for a hip roof with gutters all around in order to catch as much rainwater as possible...

But I don't think I like the look, and I don't think there will be that much better rain harvesting from a hip roof. I guess I'll need to see what the full gable looks like.

Stick frame it up as a simple gable. Then you will have extra storage space in attic when that second Chipmaster comes along . . .
