Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. That totally depends on how much you have been drinking, of what, and which way you are facing at the moment you need to decide. It's not a good time to be dizzy.

Back in my groundhog hunting days I came to appreciate the fact that the Mennonites don't have lefts or rights. Everything is a compass direction. No idea how their horses handled that though.

Wait, WHAT? So your you have an East and West hand, which could become your North hand and South hands?

While I have a strong sense of Polar direction, and do prefer it for a lot of directional description (driving especially), only going by that would drive me nuts for some stuff. I guess one would get used to it, like most things. If it's all you know, you don't know any different either. But still, very strange. Had never heard of that before.

Well, you know Watt I mean, I might of STOPPED One day TO LATE ! ! ! ! ! ! !

The Indiginous Peoples of the United States also have no left/right: They don't speak much Either, I found out.... Just a SMALL nod of the HEAD is supposed to indicate Direction HARD to see, if you are the DRIVER, and your Passenger is the Navigator!

Just one more coment about *Left* *Right*,

My Best Friend, is ADAMENTLY . . . . LEFT HANDED! that Was Discussed AT LENGTH when we First met, circa 1975/6: in our Conversation, I replied "that's Right" HE IMEDIATELY STATED: *Are you Talking about a DIRECTION, or one of your Two HANDS . . . . Perhaps you meant to say Your CORRECT* !!!!!
