If you are using a d2esktop PC Windows 10 has resize and cropping functions built in to the photos app. I used to use a simple old photo editor I loved until it gotta so old it was no longer compatible with the new Windows.

Desktop PC? What is that? LOL!

Cropping can be done at the time the photo is taken and resizing is built into the photos app on my Android phone.

Ya I know. Back in the day before smart phones I was into all the latest and greatest computer tech. I don't know what happened since! It seems like this old fart became too old to be compatible with cell phones!

No worries. Me too. I was just having fun with you!

But truthfully, I'm becoming more and more a phone user as the years pass by. The main beauty is that my phone is always with me and always available for whatever I need to do.

Damn desktops cost too much to keep running. In fact, I'm in the middle of repairing my wife's HP. Her hard disk is pooched. I'll try to save it but I think it's toast. Trouble is I can't even get the serial numbers off of it to reload her software. Big $. Not happy.

True words. I have just consigned my iMac, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro to the boneyard. Mind you, that represents 30 years of hardware. Also, I might point out with some risk of pointed rejoinders- no problems making any kind of photo editing.
