  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. I was just watching Haxby Workshop and he has a Harrison 140 if I recall.
For $2250 that's a heck of a deal.
 
The .uk write up says the 140 is the next version of this machine.
Agree, if this is in good condition I think it's a good deal as well.
 
Nice to have the book for any machine one owns.
Maybe you need to reunite the book with the machine, are you going for a drive to pickup a nty machine?;)
Actually I got the manual from Modern Tools the one I bought around 1990 had the hydraulic tracer on it but you guessed it No tailstock so I got it for $2500. We used the tailstock that was on a colchester lathe with a custom baseplate that was swapped between the two lathes. It was only used for making lower dies for the English Wheels and kits we were making.
