  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. It sure doesn't look repainted to me? They are a very nice lathe and very interesting design, love the kick off for threading, I passed on one in Quebec for $1500 and still kicking myself for that one. I love my SM but think I could spread some love to one of these if I could find one that needed a rebuild and make it a retirement project. But this is way overpriced in my opinion.

I noted the grey paint drip on the threading/feed rates chart
 
Dunno. Seems pretty hopeful, for a machine that comes with a DIY tailstock.

Seen a fair few come and gone, for lots less, in far more usable condition...
