9150 hours, a bar feeder and a huge chip handler. They made a lot of parts. Almost 10 years old. 1000 hours a year.

380000 tool changes! I wonder what they were making. Assuming 10 tool changes per part that’s 38,000 parts

Well there is a company in sunny side business centre, white rock BC, called xl aero and they are a manufacturer of aeronautical parts. I guess that is what they are making 38000 of. Bolts or fasteners? I mean what do you need 38000 of anything for planes?

Google maps is so powerful. For good I hope.

I guess I’m assuming they are making the same part but that is what a bar feeder is for. Many many of the same part. Largely unattended and automated.

Nice machine. Condition is everything. Could still be near perfect as long as it has never been crashed
