Okay so I'm going to throw this out there to see if anyone else like me has a sand blasting project they just can't get a commercial business to tackle for you.

My friend and I will be setting up for a week of sand blasting at his Guelph Area shop. We've decided we will likely just rent a hood and air supply, blasting pot, and compressor since we don't anticipate sand blasting more than once a year.

If anyone needs a part(s) blasted and wanted to come DIY or risk having me blast the part(s) for you let me know and we can discuss possible arrangements.
 
Safe, remote spot? It makes a mess and the MOE sorts seem to drive around looking for the plume of (rather unhealthy) dust. Have you inquired with any mobile sandblasting services? Probably a lot more of those about. Might be easier/faster/cheaper to get everything read and have them come to your yard.

There's sandblasting and then there's sandblasting ...... how many CFM do you plan on using?
