I have for sale a lightly used Grizzly G1006 that was manufactured in 2003. It has been stored for the last 14 years. This model is now called a G0705. Parts and the manual for the G1006 and the G0705 are nearly identical. Parts are readily available from Grizzly and they ship to Canada.
Here’s a link (with full specs and manual) for the G0705:
https://www.grizzly.com/products/grizzly-8-x-29-2-hp-mill-drill-with-stand/g0705

It comes with a new 5” vise, a 6.25” RT, a stand, plus other basic tooling.

As well as the vise and RT, it includes a drill chuck and some basic tooling. (the tooling is all new and includes: 7 piece set of R8 collets; 8 piece set of end mills; and 3 fly cutters).
The G1006 is similar to a King Canada PDM-30 (or its twin the Craftex CX604) but the Grizzly is nearly 100 pounds heavier and is made in Taiwan vs the made in China PDM-30 or CX604. This style/design of machine is often referred to as a RF-30 clone.
This machine is not just in good condition - it is in excellent condition. I did a test cut with it and it runs very smoothly and quiet. The column and machine are rigid and vibration free.

Selling price includes loading it onto your truck or trailer (using a tractor FEL so I can’t place it into a van or pickup with a cap).
PS1: The Rest of the Story. The original owner’s family moved to Colorado when he was starting grade nine. He entered the BattleBots competition by himself - a team of one! He won and used the prize money to buy the Grizzly. He later went on to university and took a 5 year program where he got both an engineering degree and a MBA. He was attracted to a financial career. His parents moved back to Burlington and the Grizzly has been stored there for the last 14 years.
PS2: I started a thread a few days ago and compared a column mill to a RF45. It includes an interesting video by ThatLazyMachinist.

PS3: FYI - a King PDM-30
is on sale now for $2999 without a stand. The G0705 sells now for 2905US$. So with exchange and shipping it is 4K before taxes.
