Quick Look at the prices he lists, and might be $13,000 worth. But that's today's prices. Hard to say what he paid for it. So, yeah, might be retail.

If you went out and bought all of that new, you’d spend more than $10K. I’d have to see all the tooling.

He does have a very long list of accessories on a spreadsheet.

Would have been nice to see the total. I just did a rough running total in my head and came up with about 13K, give or take a couple of K. But those are current prices. If he bought a couple of years ago the prices would have been lower.

I wonder how people keep their shops as neat as that. Before I built a sheet metal enclosure for my mill after running it for even a short time everything would be wet within 10 feet of the mill. The lathe is not as bad but still there are chips everywhere.

That’s my thoughts exactly when there are zero chips or oil on any machine.

I try to keep my stuff clean…. But there are still many many tiny chips and a coat of cutting oil that a casual wipe/blowdown doesn’t get.

My lathe is almost brand new and I think I’ve emptied the chip pan twice already…..
