Quick Look at the prices he lists, and might be $13,000 worth. But that's today's prices. Hard to say what he paid for it. So, yeah, might be retail.

Would have been nice to see the total. I just did a rough running total in my head and came up with about 13K, give or take a couple of K. But those are current prices. If he bought a couple of years ago the prices would have been lower.
 
That’s my thoughts exactly when there are zero chips or oil on any machine.

I try to keep my stuff clean…. But there are still many many tiny chips and a coat of cutting oil that a casual wipe/blowdown doesn’t get.

My lathe is almost brand new and I think I’ve emptied the chip pan twice already…..
