Ya but never buried doesn't mean it never had contents! I think the fact he doesn't have a pic of the inside raises questions!

I find they are generally ok if they are a bit long.

If you are doing a cremation but still want to have a service or prayers with an open casket, then the funeral home rents the casket for that time but then the cremation happens in a big cardboard box.
It's kinda like renting a limo. It gets you where you are going but you're not the likely to be the last passenger.
