When I first saw it and saw the damage. I kind of laughed at it and thought "Throw it away, buy a new one". But now I am thinking "Damn this is going to work".

He is lucky though. The amount of hours that went into this so far would have cost him an arm and a leg. He was going to try to do this stuff with a hand drill

We built a new barrel for my Race 10/22 for steel challenge.
Took a barrel liner and have it "glued" in some 7075 aluminum with that special locktite.
Its going NO where. That stuff is magical.

KEB bought a long stick of it for one of his projects and I purchased some off him.
Expensive stuff though. Around 8$ an inch.

Yes thats correct

So the thread is fully in the dowel.
And the dowel is JB'd in the block.
