  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. The zip ties holding the gear levers in position raises some concerns. As does the profusely leaking gearbox. And the hacked in VFD.

Don't think it's worth that, but probably won't be around long

I was wondering if he did that because he just uses the VFD to change speeds and maybe he has the rpm set on the VFD in that gear?

It looks rough, but who knows under all the slime.

Could be, why not just remove the handles? I'd shift the gears and make sure they engage if I were looking at it.

Hard to say why people do what they do, but I agree with you lol.

Maybe it's been used mostly for drilling with that little x/y vise on it. The y gib screw looks like it has a lot of adjustment left.

Never really know til you go look.

The updated price of $1800 is a pretty good deal on an RF45 really.(In Alberta, if the internals are all ok)
