@RobinHood was showing us a beautiful graduated / numbered dial he made on his. He made a good comment - any 3D printer could likely make quite acceptable stylus follower templates which opens the door to all kinds of possibilities. Looks like the posted one comes with a healthy inventory though.
 
Those trays after trays of engraving fonts really make that a pretty attractive deal! I see a set of inside out, reversed font tiles too, useful for making your own custom metal or leather stamps

A fella could do worse than you go look at Stephan Goettswinter's (hope I didn't butcher the name again) video where he showed making and using large size templates and reducing the ratio to make miniature or at least, small, parts using the Pantograph as a milling machine!
