I got my 5th on Wednesday, the newest version that is supposed to address the variants now out there. We're going on our first vacation since the pandemic started. Two couple that we're friends with have already gone on trips...and all 4 caught Covid at some point while away or as returning home. Fingers crossed.

7... jeeez i missed number 4 last year due to a cold and i see n upcoming poke and jab clinic in town soon but that would have been #5. i guess i need to get off the farm more. Or maybe not.

We started with the Astra Zeneca shot and then they decided they didn't like that one so number 2 was Pfizer.
Then lots of countries decided that fully vaccinated meant 2 MRNA shots so they offered a travel booster of a second Pfizer to avoid any problems when traveling.
Then the booster program kicked in and here we are at 7 shots.
On the upside, neither one of us had had covid yet.

I tried booking just now, need to wait I'm in my 60's but not considered high risk.

Had a shot of the junk 2 years ago so I could get my shoulder replaced, and I've never looked back. I will not like my life like a criminal behind a mask. Especially when I found out that 'mask' won't even stop drywall dust when I rehabbed the bathroom.
But I support your right to your wish to wear one and jab yourselves. I was taught years ago to look both ways before crossing the street, because I am responsible for my own safety.
