Saw this on Kijiji, can't resist going to look at it. They're asking less than 10% of new, with the big caveat that the table is broken off and so are the quill handles (must have fallen over - there was a fire in the unit where this is for sale or a unit next door - not sure which).
The other reason to look at it is its a 1-1/2 minute walk from my work...
Still I think its worth buying and putting some effort into fixing, maybe keep or flip. My current drill press is a badly abused and worn delta, the repairs to this may be easier than tuning up my current one.

Check first with Busy Bee about parts.
My drill press is an import that I got for $30.00 because someone had removed the quill and lost it. I found out where they came into Canada, called the tool room there, and for $65.00 got a new quill, including bearings, from a drill press that had been broken in shipping.
Can't hurt to check.

Just bought it and brought it home for $110, including the mobile base.
Its barely been used. Interesting story, the shop that had it was using it for drilling ballistic armour, and they found that drilling it was causing damage due to the pressure, so they switched to water jet cutting the holes they needed. Said it had been used maybe 20hrs and I believe him, its just a little dusty but otherwise no signs of wear.
I'll check with Busybee, at first I thought it was an integral part of the table that broke looking at the photos in the ad, but I now see its just a smaller bracket that is broken, the table itself is good. I may just fix the quill handle myself but I'll ask Busybee for a price on it too, if its cheap enough I can put my time to other uses.
Also came with an M.A. Ford 5/8" 100° carbide countersink bit. That there is $110

I've got basically the exact drill press. If you're going to fix the the table mount arm try to strengthen and brace it beyond original. It is way to flexible from factory (think cooked spaghetti)

@slow-poke - Yup - I work in Canotek, at one of the bigger places in there (its a small business park so easy to be a big place with ~200 people). Place is bursting at the seams, but will be moving in ~ 2 years to a new facility in Riverside South (not looking forward to that commute).
@DPittman - have you had a go at strengthening yours? Is the issue in the U shape channel part or how it mounts to the column, or?

Busybee got back to me on parts:

For $60 plus shipping I'll fix / modify / make a new quill handle myself, and I'm not waiting 'several months' for a part, so that will be homebrew fix as well.
Could have fixed this for $110 plus tax and shipping, but I'm just going to do it myself.

Well I've done temporary "fixes". I'll take pictures of what I did, maybe you can figure out something better.
