  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. I have not seen this one, but I have what is probably the same saw under a different name (Magnum) . Compared to the 4x6 that so many have it is 100 times more capable. The quick adjust vise alone makes worlds of difference.

I paid $1K for mine but it came with a long outfeed table and on a reasonably custom stand but that was also over 10 years ago.

I was lucky to find a 'like new' for a fair bit less than that about 5 years back and considered it a steal.

Today they are about $100 under to a couple $100 over $2K, depending on where you buy them. Getting one of these and moving from the 4x6 was maybe one of the most impactful upgrades I've done.
