I’m looking forward to hearing what you do with it. I have the same machine, pretty well dressed. It get used every couple years. I have the space and power, so no big deal.

Sorry for the topic wander, but Chipper5783, I’m curious about your Huron. Do you like running it? Good points, not so good points?

I have a slight (??!!) problem though, I need to put colunm with head back into base, but my crane (cherrypicker on steroids) has not enough range up/down. Need to come up with some sort of hoist ...

It's a common problem. I rigged my engine lift up so I can lift from the top of the beam and don't need all the underslung links, hooks, swivels. This bought me about a foot. Maybe that's not enough either though.....

Thanks Susquatch. I am measuring and checking different option. It looks like I am short of few inches of total height. Swing of the crane arm is enough. I might build a temporary platform under the rollers.

@Gennady I know what most of the items you have are (mostly because I am making them…ugh!) but you have some great stuff! The radius turning head and the standard work head will be great! Looks like you also may have the base for the saw sharpener (doing circular saw blades etc) and you have the set up for the finger holder for setting up stops etc. your machine is way newer than mine so some things have changed but application will be the same

Thanks Brent. I am yet to determine purpose and use of all bits and pieces. For now closest task is to put column with head back into machine. appears to be quite a task.

BTW - As I was told this machine is Cincinnati No2. I am checking internet and it is looking like No1 . I am a bit confused... Any thoughts ?

I managed to put column in the machine. Thanks Susq. for idea!!! I made a wooden platform three inches thick and put it under from wheels of the crane. That gave me additional height to claear the base of the machine. (Sorry for busy and messy background. shop right now is in complete disarray)
