  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

I thought you said said you were done with counter shafts and spin on chucks?
No gearbox bit it looks purty.

I'd take a screw on chuck for the right machine and price. I did crazy good on my SB.
A countershaft is ok if it's compact depth-wise.
If this is a 12" swing that's a plus. Small bore though.
I know the seller well and all of his machines are immaculate.

Looking at that picture though I don’t think it has the power cross feed there should be a slide out selector to go between both feeds.

The apron is different from yours. The star knob engages the power cross feed.

I found it to be good it did whatever I wanted. On mine that spin type clutch would bind making some scary moments so I took the apron apart and put in a spring that helped solve that problem.

Yes, I had the same engagment on my SB and it stuck once. Very scary!
 
Maybe but I would ask just the same somewhere in this site someone bought one and was disappointed that it didn’t I think you’ll find the clutch just controls the travel and not the cross slide.
