  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

I noticed my link has not been working past couple days. I think the host or redirect site is 'dezignstuf' ?sp? whereupon it goes to broken link site-no-more land.
I saw a recent post on Reddit that the site owner pulled the plug so if true would explain it.
If so, too bad. It was quite useful & had a good following of knowledgeable folks. Reddit is 'ok' but its a different user base feel & uploading images is more limited.

I just received this email today. A slightly different look & feel but seems like the prior content is there & familiar folks are joining back in. Yay!

You are receiving this email because you were a registered user at CADForum.net.
As you may or may not know, the CADForum.net site was recently shut down by it's founder and longtime steward Matt Lombard. This left a large empty space in the CAD community that needed to be filled. Thus CADmunity was born. It's not a repacement, but rather the evolution of CADForum.net. Matt was gracious enough to provide the CADForum data which we've uploaded and integrated into CADmunity.
If you have been missing CADForum.net or if you haven't been there for a while, we encourage you to come check us out at
https://forum.cadmunity.com
Your existing CADForum.net username and email address are still valid, but you will have to reset your password.
We look forward to seeing you there!

That's awesome, I only discovered that forum to have it disappear. Glad that it's back!
Doesn't look like there's a way to register though.

Sorry about that. Hmm... I wonder if they are doing rollout to prior members first & then opening it up? I poked around & there is some rebuilding & tweaking going on.

No apologies necessary! I expect that it's still being built out.
