C3-Flexi-Grip Collet

I picked up a few items yesterday. One, was this collet chuck which utilizes C3 Flexi-Grip collets. I think originally manufactured by Balas, then bought out by Sandvik. The collets are still available new from SommaTools @$50.00US ea. It only came with the one collet sized .375", and has a 3/4" shank. The shank has been cut, but still usable. I think it was designed to hold drill bits only. I'm not sure what I'll do with it, but maybe make a dedicated tool of sorts.
