  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Ah, but, I bet the last one is significantly higher...
Looks like it is in pretty good shape judging by the one picture.

It has x & y power feed, 12” original BP rotary table, original BP horizontal milling attachment and the foot stock of a (missing) dividing head.

Looks to be wired 208v/220v too, from the scratched out and re-scratched in, markings on the motor plate.

Research Council, IIRC. Should have led a pretty decent life. Certainly a step up, size-wise, from the regular BP Mills!

Well, I could make some smart ass remark about government and virus, but then it would get political and I would get banned…

To be perfectly Honest, I'm not sure that criticism of 'the government' COUNTS as being political! The best of them, still deserve all the criticism they can get!

After all, a wise man once said (so I am led to believe!) that the ideal situation, is to hang the last politician, with the guts of the last Priest!

No names, no pack drill!
