I’m trying my hand at bracelet making. Need to keep it turning slowly until the epoxy gells.

Neat. Is it UV clear epoxy?

I did some gift rings but in both cases used the CA glue treatment for the clear finish like what a lot of pen makers use. So every coat application (spinning on a mandrel) give it a spritz of accelerator & that builds up the finish so its essentially instantly cured every couple seconds with each consecutive coat. But you might have more to coat so maybe not applicable. The orange/yellow thread had some sentimental meaning to the recipient & it was wound into the ring cavity. The green stuff is 2 colors of polymer clay kind of twisted & squished together to reveal the swirl once cut through.

Cabosil (=Aerosil =fumed silica) will increase viscosity as its intended, but it will also give it a white-ish tone the higher the concentration if you trying to maintain optical transparency. And actually epoxy's themselves can vary in this regard.

Indeed. My epoxy was quite clear. I did reduce the cabosil on my second try, but the result was still almost opaque.
