  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

No Tail stock?
I didn't see one either, but not being on Facebook, I only have the one picture. However, it does appear to have power cross feed as well as longitudinal. The paint doesn't look all that bad, and the compound doesn't look like it's been kissed by the chuck jaws either.....

One of the other pictures shows what appears to be the tailstock hiding behind the carriage.
I don't see the countershaft pulley. Looks like other countershaft parts are missing as well so I'm not sure how they're running it.

Just to the right of the white knob behind the headstock appears to be a gitts oiler....... Could it be part of the countershaft assembly?
I have a hunch they got a deal on it and never hooked it to power......

Boxford is the evolution of SouthBend. They're well made and a very capable machine that will do someone well even without a gearbox.
At the price, unless there is something wrong, I thought it would be gone by now. $1k could possibly take it home.
