The seller says it came new in box and it is made in Czechoslovakia. The new price from dealers is nearly 1000 dollars.

I have the same chuck on my lathe. I bought it over 25 years ago.
Mine was made in Poland. Its a good quality chuck.

I always thought TOS was Czech & Bison was Poland. Both high quality, but distinctly different. So not sure whats going on there with the box.
The chuck is for sure Bison based on insignia & model number. They go for (went for?) 2-3 times that new.

Well, it must be real nice if that's one of our member of this forum since this posting got sold and I cannot edit my thread title to reflect that
