Ben McKenzie re Crypto

Not sure if anyone is into crypto scams, but a new documentary can be viewed on YouTube via CBC. I think up until now it was only available on some of the paid channels. Anyway, excellent video IMO. It kind of aligns to the book Easy Money by same author, Ben McKenzie, also highly recommended.

yes, I watched it a few days ago. I took from it one over riding aspect and that is, if you don't understand it, you will probably lose money. I can't say I disagree. Also as an immediate follow-up to Everyone Is Lying.., I watched "Who is Satoshi Nakamoto" (also on Gem) Although it had more of a Who Done It vibe, they posted some of what they thought were positive aspects to bitcoin which Ben didn't seem to address in his piece. I would consider buying bitcoin as a currency instead of an investment, but to Ben's point (regarding El Salvador), if it hasn't become mainstream yet, then it probably never will.

We discussed this in another thread a few weeks ago. Actually, it more than "aligns" with the book - having read it a few years ago, I was eagerly awaiting the doc, and have to say I was a little let down because it didn't substantially add to the book. Still, I'd recommend the doc for anyone who hasn't read Easy Money.
