I'm very tempted by the H2D, as the dual nozzle opens up a lot of multi-material options you can't do with just the AMS.
But, I tend to build my 3d printers so I can understand and have control over every aspect of the machine. That being said, it has evolved into both a hobby and a tool. It can be a lot of fun, but also very frustrating when things don't work out. If anyone is ever interested in building their own, I recommend the
Voron machines, specifically the
V2 or
Trident. However, the Trident is a more straightforward option for a first-time build. There's a massive community on Discord with lots of great people and helpful resources. There are lots of kits you can buy from reputable companies to save you from sourcing everything yourself, but you can go that way if you want. And they are infinitely upgradeable; the team behind Voron are always improving the machines and revising them with optional upgrades.
However, if you want plug-and-play, these aren't the right choices. They are, however, among the best machines on the market, after BambuLabs, in my opinion.
