of all of the super beans lathes 10ees are more common, maybe that's a factor of why they're worth more money but there's alot of them out there

Also, 2/3 of them have drive problems. Even monarch uses motor with a vfd now.
 
Also it is a round dial model, the oldest type. Parts are readily available for 10ee’ s, there was around 30,000 made. The tubes in some models of drives can be hard to find.
 
The Ward Leonard drive used in the round dials is very solid and gives performance that is quite difficult to match. The only complain I have is they are loud. The tubes didn't come until later.
