Boley made sone great tools. To be anything like a decent set, the kit above, really needs around 75 collets, a full set from 1-50, and at least a few spare 50's, and duplicates of a few along the way. The collet number is the size in decimal Millimeters. #1, is .1 of a mm, up to 50, which is 5.0mm. #50, is commonly used as a holding collet for a long assortment of other tooling that is designed to be held in the 5mm chuck, for jewel replacements, pivot drilling and the like. Eg: you don't want to be caught short, when the work you are holding in the collet at one end of the lathe, just happens to match the standardized shank diameter of the pivot drills you have...
