bizarre eh? I bought an unused Atlas shaper once that an old boy had disassembled to cart down the basements stairs. 40 years later it was still in pieces but the entire base casting was nowhere to be found. How do you lose that?! Thank goodness for ebay!
For $200 I'm tempted, just to get back at my kids.

fyi this a production mill version, it appears to be missing some key items such as the rack and related feed levers. Very unusual to see one of these. BTW a fresh paint job doesn't make it a good machine, it just makes it pretty. E.g. those holes drilled in the table are not standard so it could very well be worn out as part of your future joys.
