Anyone going to the Calgary Motorcycle show?

Just wondering if anyone is going to the Calgary motorcycle show jan 31 to feb 2 or not? Me and the wife might be going as a long time friend of mine will be down for the show.
 
We should be there on Saturday. Meeting some friends there as well as staying at a hotel nearby as the wife doesn't want to drive back out.

LOL! Last one I was at was in Edmonton.

Outstanding memory from the show, was the look on the rented bikini fluff's face when I asked her to at least, step behind the bike, as I wanted a picture of it, not her.

The trials riding demo was pretty darn great too! Mad skills!

Honestly though, I pretty much stopped paying attention to what's new, and am pretty happy to wait out the warranty period, to see what stays running that long, these days. Most of the new stuff is crap.

Yeah, I'm old. I still think of an '80's bike as pretty new, and still think $100K should buy a house, not a car!
 
The show is a bit better than last years overall. More space with the adventure zone in its own area. Still lots of HD type gear which is not my style and a handful of non motorcycle related vendors. Still hit and miss with some of the brands not present including BMW.
 
I miss going to the bike shows. Been over a decade now since I've been to either of the big Toronto shows. Used to go and work both shows every year as part of our racing org and was always a great way to break up winter and mix and mingle with industry peeps and old friends.
