Good day, all, I’m new to this forum and blacksmithing. I live near Ottawa, Ontario. I was looking to see if anybody could give me some info on my new anvil that I just purchased. I know that it's a London pattern but looking for more info on the maker and year it’s from. Thank you for all the info you can give me.

Welcome. Mousehole are good anvils and yours looks to be in decent workable shape with a few careers worth of life left in it. If old tools could tell stories I'd be curious about all the punch marks in yours. As well as all the torch marks in mine. I also have punch marks too. Maybe a quick hardness test after quenching punches? Or a bored child left alone in the shop while Dad/Grandpa works. Who knows?
