The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Yes, a real machine. Price seems ok but did you see what comes with it? There’s a Wohlhaupter boring head that comes with it. That’s 2k right there.

That fellow is selling some decent tapping heads. Too bad he's so far away.

I just checked it out. I'm wondering if he's selling them for 1K each or if it's for both? They're too large for my RF45 none the less. What a great deal. Tapping head prices are more or less what you'll find on eBay. Still, not a bad deal, especially if they come with collets.

Makes me cringe to see that table treated that way. :(

Often in North America, this happens. You see the table on a Deckel IS the base, and can support thousands of pounds. It is the rest of the machine that moves. Ingenious approach. Too many guys use the table as an, er, table. ;)
