Looks like a Taiwanese generic, do you have any more pictures?

Looks clean enough but who's to say what evil lurks beneath. I suspect it's the typical 12x36 like you noted. The Lantaine looks exactly like it.

Looks like a maybe a 1224. I couldn't make out the model from label.
Most of those are reasonable machines, it would be worth a look at a good price.

Looks identical to the Husky PC-36 that used to be sold by BB. $1500 is perfectly reasonable if it’s in decent shape. I’m pretty sure I have a .PDF copy of the manual somewhere in my archives.

What you see is what you get. One 3-jaw chuck, no 4-jaw, steady rest or follow rest.

I picked it up :) seems very clean and he there was a 4 jaw. I would love a copy of the manual though I can't seem to find a copy.

You are exactly right. Grizzly and everybody sells this machine. I have a Husky PC36 12x36 lathe I am going to sell. I have to sort out all the tooling and chuck and accessories before I do. whydon'tyou has the grizzly manual I use, it is the exact thing.
