That's a lot of press/versatility for the $$$. I've often thought about building one similar starting with a smaller 5-10t punch press frame, that are so often found at giveaway/scrap prices.

A way to squeeze extra performance out of those employees that like to spend excessive amount of time on the can while on the clock. "well, if you're going to spend 30 minutes on the can, at least bend up a couple parts while you're doing it" :D. Modern manufacturing is all about efficiencies :D

I have a coworker who has a ‘morning meeting’ every day.

As in, ‘Where’s _____?
He’s at his morning meeting.’

There’s a lot to like, there. Small footprint, plenty of tonnage. It looks like there’s a switch on the left side for depth, with a sort of ‘bead’ to activate it. I think I’d miss the micrometer adjustment on our press at work, but that’s a manageable thing.

Oh, to have my own full-sized shop…

Ya, it almost seems like the perfect home shop press for a guy that's into a big mix of everything. Can certainly see it being handy if one had a plasma table, and needed to bend brackets and stuff like that. Takes up way less room than a press brake, but provide more alternative uses too. If only I had my leanto built behind the shop, this would be perfect out there.
